Your Social Network

I've been a Facebook addict from day one, but I still have a lot to learn when it comes to using it as a benefit for business. There isn't any point in having someone "like" your business page or follow your blog or twitter, unless they are coming back to interact with you time and time again. I feel that a "like" on Facebook is a lot like handing out a business card. People might touch a glimpse of your brand, but unless there is any sort of follow up, it becomes another "business card" that gets lost in a stack of papers or ends up in the trash. My hope is that when people "like" or "follow" a part of my business it is because they truly want a seat at the table to share ideas.

Timing is everything, even with social media. I found this chart to be extremely helpful. Maybe it will benefit you as well with what you would like to say and share with the world. Click here to visit the link :-)
